Spiti Sweaters

During my visit to Spiti in March when the temperatures were still minus 15C at night, the days were quite cool too!

I visited Kibber village, we had to cut a path through the snow on the road for our jeep, but we got there! I took a huge bag of sweaters kindly knitted by our friends and supporters in the UK. As you see from the photos, we gave them out to the children who were thrilled with them. Its the end of the winter and their clothes are looking thin and well worn, so some new sweaters were most welcome.

Thank you to all the knitters, your sweaters are well received!
